Meet Tatiana
My name is Tatiana, and I have dedicated more than 10 years of my life to the nail industry.
Throughout my career, I have studied and worked with a wide variety of manicure, pedicure, nail enhancement, and nail art techniques. Over the years, I learned that no single technique is perfect for every client. Different nail types, lifestyles, and goals require different solutions. That is why I never limit myself to one system, one material, or one trend.
Today, every service in my studio is performed personally by me. My goal is not simply to create beautiful nails, but to help clients achieve healthy, strong, and long-lasting results.
My Approach to Manicure
I was trained in multiple manicure techniques, including classic, hardware, and combination manicure. Seven years ago, I became deeply interested in combination manicure and chose to make it my primary working technique.
Combination manicure combines e-file work with precision cuticle cutting. While some technicians use nippers or tweezers, I personally work with scissors. Over the years, I refined this technique because it allows me to create a cleaner, more precise cuticle line and achieve what many clients describe as a smoother grow-out period after their appointment.
This is not because one technique is universally better than another. It is simply the technique that I have spent years refining and perfecting.
Nail Architecture & Extensions
My foundation was built through traditional extension training, where architecture was considered one of the most important skills a technician could master.
I am trained in sculpting extensions on traditional lower forms, which remains one of the most technically demanding extension methods because every aspect of the nail's structure must be built from scratch. This training taught me to understand balance, structure, symmetry, and long-term durability.
I am also experienced with upper forms, modern extension systems, hard gel overlays, and Gel-X style extensions. While I am comfortable working with all of these systems, I view them as tools rather than identities. The best technique depends on the client, not on current trends.
One of my favorite areas of advanced work is nail architecture and structured enhancements. I also enjoy advanced techniques such as sculpted French designs and plan to continue developing these skills throughout my career.
Nail Art & Design
Like many technicians, I spent years exploring different styles of nail art and investing in advanced education.
I have completed additional training in hand-painted designs, Disney-inspired artwork, fine line work, stamping techniques, crystal placement, and other decorative services.
Over time, I developed my own aesthetic style. I am drawn to elegant, balanced designs that complement the shape and architecture of the nail rather than overpower it. I especially enjoy marble effects, refined details, and timeless luxury-inspired looks.
For me, beautiful design begins with beautiful structure.
Pedicure Philosophy
My experience includes both traditional water-based pedicure techniques and modern dry pedicure systems.
Years ago, I performed classic pedicures and learned the foundations of foot care through traditional methods. Over time, I chose to specialize in Smart Pedicure because it aligned more closely with the results, efficiency, and consistency I wanted to provide to my clients.
Just like manicure techniques, this was not about following trends. It was an intentional professional decision based on experience.
Understanding the Story Behind the Nails
One of the most valuable skills I have developed over the years is the ability to understand what happened to a client's nails before they walked into my studio.
Because I have worked with so many different techniques, materials, and systems, I can often identify how previous services were performed simply by examining the nails.
I can frequently recognize the technique that was used, how the product was applied, how the nail grew out, and in many cases whether a lifting issue occurred naturally or if the product was manually removed.
This is why consultations and client conversations are so important to me. Every set of nails tells a story, and understanding that story helps me create a better plan moving forward.
My Mission
At Tati Nails Artistry, my mission is not to create the most dramatic nails in the room.
My mission is to help clients build healthy nails, understand their options, and achieve beautiful results through thoughtful technique, proper structure, and long-term care.
Because beautiful nails should not only look good today — they should remain healthy and beautiful for years to come.
