Combination Technique
Why I chose combination manicures
Over the years, I've studied and mastered various manicure techniques, including classic, hardware, and combination manicures.
While I still believe that each technique has its place and can be appropriate in certain situations, over seven years ago I chose combination manicures as my primary technique and continue to refine them to this day.
In my opinion, this is one of the most versatile manicure techniques available today, as it allows for adaptation to a wide variety of skin types and nail characteristics.
In my work, I use a combination of hardware and scissors. Using a cutter, I gently lift and prepare the cuticle area, then use scissors to perform precise trimming, removing only what truly needs to be removed.
Contrary to popular belief, my goal is not to completely remove every client's cuticle. Everyone's skin condition is different, so I tailor each service individually. Sometimes minimal trimming is sufficient, while other times more thorough work is required.
One of the reasons I chose scissors as my primary cuticle tool is their precision. Over the years, I've come to the conclusion that this tool allows me to achieve the most precise and clean results, as well as more comfortable skin regrowth after the procedure.
What I like most about the combined technique is its flexibility. It allows me to work with both thin and sensitive skin and thicker cuticles, without limiting myself to a single system.
For me, manicure has never been about following trends or trendy technique names.
For me, manicure is about choosing the right tool, the right technique, and the right approach for a specific person.
That's why, after many years of practice, I settled on the combined technique. Not because it's popular, but because over the years, it has proven itself to be the most versatile, predictable, and effective system for achieving healthy nails, beautiful results, and comfortable regrowth.
