Studio Policies

Our standards, policies, and service agreements exist to protect the health of our clients, the integrity of our work, and the calm, private studio environment we maintain.

Your nail and skin health are the foundation of every service at Tati Nails Artistry. All work is performed using a health-first approach grounded in professional assessment, structural safety, and long-term nail integrity.

Our services are based on advanced Russian manicure and pedicure techniques focused on structure, hygiene, and long-term nail health. This approach may differ from traditional salon methods and prioritizes integrity and safety over speed.

If Tatiana identifies any condition that may compromise safety—such as infection, inflammation, open wounds, or nail or skin concerns—the service may be paused, adjusted, or rescheduled to protect your health. In these cases, no cancellation or rescheduling fees apply. Medical clearance may be required before continuing service.

This standard allows us to maintain a private, one-on-one studio environment where quality, safety, and consistency are never compromised.

Tati Nails Artistry is a professional working studio. These policies are designed to maintain a safe, sanitary, calm, and professional environment for every client and to support the precision and quality of every service.

Hands & Cooperation: To ensure precision and safety during detailed work, clients must keep their hands relaxed and allow the nail technician to guide hand and finger positioning as needed. Sudden movements, pulling the hand away, or repeatedly changing hand position may affect the quality, timing, or safety of the service.

Phone Use: To maintain precision, safety, and efficiency during the service, phone use should be limited whenever it interferes with the service being performed. A phone holder is available for clients when needed.

Service Confirmation & Pricing: The booked service, expected timing, and applicable pricing will be confirmed before the service begins. Any requested additions, upgrades, designs, or changes may require additional time and are subject to availability within the scheduled appointment. Tati Nails Artistry cannot guarantee that additional services or changes requested at the appointment can be accommodated.

Focus & Studio Environment: Tati Nails Artistry maintains a calm, quiet, and focused environment to support detailed technical work, client comfort, and consistent results. Clients are expected to respect the professional working environment throughout their appointment.

Children & Studio Safety: For safety reasons, clients are asked not to bring children to their appointments unless the child is the client receiving a scheduled service. Tati Nails Artistry is a professional working studio and does not provide a designated childcare area or childcare supervision.

The studio contains professional nail products, chemicals, liquids, tools, equipment, and other materials used during services that are not intended to be accessible to unsupervised children. Because the nail technician must remain fully focused on the service being performed, Tati Nails Artistry cannot provide childcare or supervision during a client's appointment.

Clients are responsible for arranging appropriate childcare before their scheduled appointment. If a client arrives with a child and safe, appropriate supervision cannot be maintained without interfering with the service or studio safety, Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right to decline or discontinue the service. The appointment may then be subject to the applicable Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy.

Pets & Service Animals: Pets are not permitted inside the studio. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.

Communication: Clear communication is important for achieving the expected service result. Clients should communicate any questions, concerns, preferences, or relevant service requests before the service begins whenever possible so that expectations can be confirmed in advance. If a concern arises during the service, clients are encouraged to communicate it promptly so it can be addressed before the service is completed.

Food & Beverages: Food is not permitted during appointments in order to maintain a clean and sanitary working environment. Beverages are permitted only in securely closed containers. Clients may bring their own securely closed beverage container. Bottled water may be provided by the studio when available.

Client Health & Hand Cleansing: Clients receiving nail care services are required to cleanse their hands immediately before the nail service begins. The nail technician will also cleanse their hands before providing services to each client in accordance with applicable sanitation requirements.

Checkout: Payment for services is completed at the conclusion of the appointment unless otherwise required under the applicable Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy.

Policy Compliance: By booking and receiving services at Tati Nails Artistry, clients are expected to comply with the Studio Policy as well as the separate Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy. Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service when reasonably necessary to maintain safety, sanitation, professional working conditions, or compliance with applicable law.

At Tati Nails Artistry, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. By booking an appointment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the policies below.

By providing a payment method in connection with an appointment, the client authorizes Tati Nails Artistry to charge the payment method provided for applicable late cancellation, late rescheduling, and No-Show fees as described in this policy. All applicable fees are based on the price of the service(s) originally booked.

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without a fee when at least 24 hours' notice is provided. For cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the following applies:

Rescheduling within the next 7 calendar days: A 30% non-refundable late rescheduling fee will be charged based on the price of the originally booked service.

Rescheduling more than 7 calendar days later: 100% of the originally booked service price will be charged.

Cancellation without rescheduling: 100% of the originally booked service price will be charged.

Late cancellation and rescheduling fees are charged to the payment method on file. These fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or applied as credit toward future appointments. Any new appointment remains subject to the applicable booking and deposit requirements.

2. Late Arrival Policy

Clients are expected to arrive on time and be ready to begin their service at the scheduled appointment time. If a client expects to be late, they must contact Tati Nails Artistry by phone call or message before the scheduled appointment time.

To be considered valid advance notice, the client must clearly provide their full name, their scheduled appointment time, and a clear statement that they are running late. For example: "Hello, my name is [Full Name]. I have an appointment today at [Time], and I am running late."

A message that does not contain enough information to identify the client or the scheduled appointment may not be considered valid notice. This is especially important when contacting Tati Nails Artistry through social media accounts, phone numbers, or profiles that do not clearly display the client's name. It is the client's responsibility to make sure their late-arrival notice can be reasonably identified and connected to their appointment.

Clients who provide valid advance notice but arrive 15 minutes or more late may be accommodated solely at the discretion of Tati Nails Artistry and only if the remaining schedule allows. Advance notice of a late arrival does not guarantee that the appointment can be accommodated. A late arrival does not extend the originally scheduled appointment time.

If the appointment can still be accommodated, Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right to shorten or modify the originally booked service based on the remaining appointment time in order to avoid delays for following clients.

For manicure services, this may include completing the manicure and hard gel service using the gel color itself without additional color selection, French design, nail art, or other add-ons. For pedicure services, Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right to perform only the portion of the originally booked service that can reasonably be completed within the remaining appointment time. This may include completing the pedicure without polish or gel application.

The client remains responsible for 100% of the originally booked service price, even when the service must be shortened or modified due to the client's late arrival. Pricing reflects the reserved appointment time, not the duration of work actually performed.

3. No-Show Policy

A phone call or message received after the scheduled appointment time is not considered advance notice.

If a client has not arrived by the scheduled appointment time and has not provided advance notice, Tati Nails Artistry will attempt to contact the client by phone call and message. If the client does not respond and does not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, the appointment will be cancelled and classified as a No-Show.

The 10-minute period is not a grace period for late arrival or late notification. Clients are expected to be present and ready to begin their service at the scheduled appointment time. The 10-minute period allows Tati Nails Artistry to attempt to contact the client before closing the appointment.

A No-Show will result in a charge of 100% of the originally booked service price to the payment method provided in connection with the appointment. The No-Show Fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or applied as credit toward any future appointment.

After a No-Show, the client must create a new booking and pay a new deposit to secure any future appointment.

4. Repeated Late Rescheduling

Reduced fees are provided only for a limited number of late rescheduling requests.

For the first rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a 30% non-refundable late rescheduling fee will apply when the new appointment is scheduled within the next 7 calendar days.

For the second rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a 50% non-refundable late rescheduling fee will apply when the new appointment is scheduled within the next 7 calendar days.

If, on either occurrence, the appointment is rescheduled more than 7 calendar days later or cancelled entirely, 100% of the originally booked service price will be charged.

After two late rescheduling requests, any additional rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the originally booked service price. Late rescheduling requests are counted cumulatively for each client and do not reset over time.

Late rescheduling fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or applied as credit toward future services. When a new appointment is required, the client must create a new booking and pay a new deposit to secure the appointment.

Business Courtesy: If Tati Nails Artistry must reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer priority rebooking assistance. Any courtesy adjustments are provided at business discretion.

Policy Acknowledgment & Payment Authorization

By completing an appointment booking with Tati Nails Artistry, the client acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review this Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy before completing the booking and agrees to its terms.

By providing a payment method in connection with the booking, the client authorizes Tati Nails Artistry to charge applicable cancellation, late rescheduling, and No-Show fees to that payment method in accordance with this policy.

Fees charged under this policy are separate from any deposit required to secure a future appointment unless expressly stated otherwise.

1. Realistic Expectations & Progressive Results: Many clients come to Tati Nails Artistry with existing nail damage, structural concerns, improper architecture, or previous work performed by another provider. In these cases, the first appointment may be the beginning of a correction or restoration process rather than the final aesthetic result. Some nail conditions may require multiple appointments to achieve the desired and stable result.

2. Licensed Nail Technician: All services at Tati Nails Artistry are personally performed by Tatiana, a licensed Nail Technician in the Commonwealth of Virginia. All services are performed within the scope of her professional license. Because of this one-expert model, results achieved in our studio may differ from those performed elsewhere.

3. Client Responsibility & Maintenance: Structural nail services require regular maintenance and timely appointments. Maintenance for hard gel services is generally recommended every 3–4 weeks. Nail extensions generally require structural maintenance approximately every 3 weeks. Clients are responsible for scheduling their maintenance appointments within the recommended timeframe. Delaying recommended maintenance may affect the structure, durability, and condition of the nails.

4. Work from Other Providers: If a client receives nail services from another provider between appointments at Tati Nails Artistry, a complete removal of the existing material and a new service may be required at the next appointment. This determination is made based on the condition of the nails, existing product, and structure. Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right not to perform a correction or continue working over material or structure applied by another provider.

5. Booking, Deposit & Payment: Appointments require a valid payment method on file. A deposit is required for new clients to secure an appointment. The deposit applies to the specific service booked and is credited toward the total price of that service when the appointment is completed as scheduled. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service. Our services are listed at two prices: a card price and a lower cash price. The cash price applies to payment by cash, Zelle, or bank transfer. The card price applies to all card payments. Both prices are shown before booking, and no additional fee is added at checkout.

Cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and No-Shows are governed by the separate Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy. When required under that policy, a new deposit must be paid to secure a new appointment.

6. Authorized Payment Method: Clients are responsible for ensuring that any payment method provided or used for booking or payment is authorized for their use. By providing or using a payment method, the client confirms that they are authorized to use that payment method.

7. Repairs, Damage & Adjustments After Service: Tati Nails Artistry does not provide a warranty period, complimentary repairs, or complimentary adjustments after an appointment has been completed. Once the booked service has been completed, any subsequent repair, restoration, or adjustment is considered a separate service, regardless of when the issue occurs.

This includes, but is not limited to, a broken nail, chipped or damaged product, scratches, or any other condition requiring additional work after the original appointment has been completed. Tati Nails Artistry does not determine or assign responsibility for how or why the damage occurred after completion of the service. No warranty period is provided for completed nail services.

If additional work is requested or required after the appointment has been completed, it must be booked and paid for separately according to the current Tati Nails Artistry price list. This policy applies even when a repair or adjustment is requested the following day or shortly after the original appointment. Current repair and additional service pricing is available on the Tati Nails Artistry website.

8. Photo & Video Documentation: Photos and/or videos of the nails and completed work may be taken as part of the professional documentation of services, including documentation of nail condition, structure, progress, techniques, and results.

9. Photography & Media Use: By accepting this Service Agreement, the client authorizes Tati Nails Artistry to photograph and/or record the nail service and completed work and to use such materials for professional purposes, including social media, portfolio content, educational materials, professional explanations, demonstrations of techniques, results, and professional case discussions.

Photos and videos may be used to demonstrate the work, process, techniques, results, or for professional and educational explanations. Clients' personal information will not be published or disclosed in connection with these materials. Names, contact information, and other personally identifying client information will not be included with published materials without separate authorization.

10. Audio & Video Surveillance: For the safety and security of our clients and studio, audio and video recording is in use throughout the studio premises. By entering the studio, clients acknowledge and consent to audio and video recording.

Agreement: By booking an appointment with Tati Nails Artistry, the client acknowledges and agrees to the applicable studio policies and terms of service presented during the booking process. Clients are also required to review and sign the applicable studio agreement at the studio.

By booking and receiving services, clients acknowledge and consent to the following:

Professional Service Understanding: Nail services involve detailed cuticle work, structural product application, and the use of professional tools. Minor sensitivity, temporary redness, or mild discomfort may occasionally occur. Service results and durability depend on individual factors including natural nail condition, lifestyle, daily activities, maintenance timing, and proper aftercare.

Realistic Expectations: Optimal results are typically achieved through consistent maintenance appointments and adherence to professional aftercare recommendations. Nail improvement is often a progressive process rather than a one-visit transformation.

Health Disclosure Responsibility: Clients are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions that may affect services, including pregnancy, diabetes, medications, skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or recent injuries affecting the hands or feet.

Informed Consent: By proceeding with booking and receiving services, clients confirm they understand the nature of professional nail services, maintenance responsibilities, and consent to professional nail services performed according to Tati Nails Artistry standards.

Tati Nails Artistry operates by appointment only.

Available appointment times are shown in our online booking system and are intentionally structured to reflect the time required for preparation, detailed service execution, sanitation, and recovery between appointments.

Appointment availability is designed to maintain consistent service quality, focus, and client experience. Limited appointments outside standard availability may occasionally be accommodated with prior coordination, depending on service type, schedule structure, and studio capacity.

To maintain service quality and scheduling consistency, walk-ins are not accepted.

Due to the time, preparation, professional expertise, and materials involved in our services, all services are final and refunds are not provided once a service has been completed.

There is no warranty period on completed nail services. Any later repair, restoration, or adjustment is a separate service, booked and paid for separately at current price-list rates, as set out in the Service Agreement.

If you have a question or concern about your service, please raise it during your appointment, before the service is completed, so that it can be reviewed and addressed while you are still in the studio.

Approval of the service at checkout and completion of payment confirms acceptance of the service results provided.

Clients are responsible for selecting the appropriate service category when booking. Services booked outside recommended maintenance windows or requiring additional corrective work may require service adjustments, additional time, or pricing changes.

To maintain nail health and structural balance, services should be booked within recommended maintenance timeframes. Availability within these windows is not guaranteed and depends on scheduling availability.

Clients are strongly encouraged to book their next appointment at checkout and schedule maintenance at least 1–2 weeks in advance. Requests for short-notice appointments ("rush appointments") may not be available due to the structured time required for detailed services.

For the safety of clients, staff, and business operations, Tati Nails Artistry maintains audio and video recording in common and service areas as part of standard operational security practices. Notice of recording is posted at the studio entrance.

Recordings may be used solely for safety and security, quality control, dispute documentation, and protection of clients, staff, and business property. Recordings are not used for marketing or any unrelated purposes.

By entering the studio, clients acknowledge and consent to this monitoring as part of the studio environment. As a private, appointment-only studio, Tati Nails Artistry reserves the right to refuse or discontinue future services to clients who do not follow studio policies, booking guidelines, or who create operational disruption.

Tati Nails Artistry LLC is committed to the absolute protection of your personal information. Client data collected through our booking system, payment processing, and Secure Client Portal is utilized strictly for operational business purposes, such as appointment scheduling, secure SMS authentication, and service documentation.

Analytics & Internal Optimization: To improve our digital experience and ensure our marketing reaches the right audience, we securely transmit limited, encrypted interaction data to our trusted advertising and analytics platforms (including Google and Meta). This data is utilized exclusively for our own internal ad optimization and traffic analysis.

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against data selling and spam. We never sell, trade, or distribute your personal information—including mobile numbers and opt-in consent data—to external marketing companies, data brokers, or unrelated third parties for their own use under any circumstances.

For comprehensive details, please review our official Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

To protect appointment availability and scheduling integrity, first-time clients are required to place a 50% security deposit based on the base service price to secure their reserved appointment time.

Deposit Terms: Deposit is calculated from the base service price only (add-ons and nail art are not included). Deposit is applied toward the final service total when the appointment is completed as scheduled. Deposits are charged at the card price. At the studio, the remaining balance is charged at the price matching the payment method used.

Cancellation & Rescheduling: Deposits are refundable when cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time (Eastern Time). Within 24 hours of the appointment, deposits become non-refundable. Deposits may be transferred one time only when the appointment is rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.

Cancellations, rescheduling requests, late arrivals, and No-Shows occurring less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are governed by the Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy above. Any deposit already paid for the affected appointment is applied toward the fee charged under that policy.

Where a new deposit is required under the Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy, the new appointment is not secured until the new deposit is received.

If a required deposit cannot be successfully processed, is declined, or is not received within the requested timeframe, the appointment may be canceled and released. Appointments are considered pending until deposit confirmation is completed.
