My First Nails in China I was 13 years old when I traveled to China with my mom and sister.
One day, while walking through a shopping mall, I noticed something that instantly caught my attention.
In the middle of the mall, there was a small table where a woman was creating nail extensions while people walked by.
I couldn’t stop watching.
I begged my mom to let me get my nails done.
After a lot of convincing, she finally said yes.
My mom and sister went shopping, and I stayed behind, sitting at that little table for hours, completely fascinated by the process.
That day, I got my very first set of nails.
They were long, square-shaped, and had a blue aquarium design.
I felt like the happiest girl in the world.
The nails didn’t last very long, but the feeling did.
When we returned home, my mom saw how passionate I was about nails and beauty.
So she bought me my very first nail kit.
Gels, forms, brushes, and everything I needed to start practicing.
Looking back now, I realize that this was the moment when everything truly began.
Not at a salon.
Not in a classroom.
But at a small table in a shopping mall in China.
To be continued…
