Why You Should Never Remove Your Coating Yourself

If you do not want the result shown in the main photo, I strongly recommend that you do not remove your coating yourself.

The coating is attached with professional products and techniques, and only a trained specialist (a manicurist) should remove it properly. Imagine applying very strong tape to a painted wall and then tearing it off. Most likely, you would remove part of what was underneath, and some of it would remain stuck to the tape.

The same thing happens with nail coating. When you tear the color off your nails, you are literally tearing off a layer of your natural nail plate.

There is no need to worry — a professional has the proper tools and techniques to remove coating safely. You simply need to visit your specialist so the material can be removed without pain or damage.

When material is torn off improperly, several problems can happen:
• Nails may feel heat sensitivity in the lamp
• There is a higher risk of chemical irritation
• New material may not adhere properly
• The nail surface may become uneven due to damage
• The natural shape of the nail can become distorted due to missing layers

Where the nail plate is damaged, small pits and irregularities can form.

Please do not risk your nail health. Seek professional help.
